Q. What is a dental implant?

A. Implants are the most stable option you can choose when replacing a tooth and should stay for life. Also, with no root structure of a natural tooth, the jawbone can change shape. This change adjusts the look of your whole face and could prematurely age you.

Q. How natural will my dental implant look?

A. The dental implant just replaces the root of your tooth. A full porcelain restoration can be used for your missing tooth and can look as natural as a real tooth.

Q. Can dental implants be completed under twilight sedation?

A. Yes. Dental implant treatment can be extensive so a twilight sedation is an option for you.

Q. Can I chew properly with dental implants?

A. Yes. Chewing is comparable to natural teeth, more so than with dentures.
